SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS

Position responsible for building and leading all phases of the sponsorship program. This involves responsibility for developing and maintaining a marketing plan for the sponsor program in order to meet the overall association objectives. Responsibilities include sponsor prospecting, proposal customization and presentation, contract revision and servicing, and sponsor follow-up and support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In coordination with the President, develop and implement a sponsorship plan. Target objectives include increasing sponsorship and creating sponsorship products. Develop and implement an annual trade show or other events to assist in achieving the business objectives.

Develop, maintain and implement sponsorship program guidelines to increase sponsorship recruitment, satisfaction, and support. Manages all sponsorship activities. Responsible for sponsor prospecting, proposal customization and presentation, contract revision and servicing, sponsor follow-up and support, trade shows development and representing the association at selected functions.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year experience in marketing. Strong written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English (French is an asset) and strict attention to detail. Must be able to use good judgment, work independently and remotely in a multi-task position within a dynamic, team-based environment with solid time-management and organization skills.

TIME COMMITMENT AND CONDITIONS

All positions at the Canadian Chamber in Italy are honorary and we ask for a time commitment of 3 hours per week, minimum. The Chamber is based in Rome and most of the work is done remotely.
